Frequently Asked Questions
What’s for dinner?
Dinner will consist of a plated duet of horseradish crusted filet of salmon and lemon french breast of chicken with capers, parsley, and lemon. We also have a vegetarian option of wild mushroom lasagna with cashew béchamel and madeira mushroom sauce. Please reach out if you have any allergies or concerns.
What’s the dress code?
The dress code for the evening is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies suggested to wear dresses or nice pantsuits. Long, midi, or shorter is fine. Cocktail dresses or more dressy ones are great too! It may be warm and breezy. Gentlemen should wear a suit or a sports coat. The wedding will be in the interior of the Branford House, but the cocktail hour and reception will be held on the outside patio area and under a tent on the lawn.
Are children invited?
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
What will the weather be like?
Temperatures in July can range from mid 80s in the afternoon to the 60s in the evening. The wedding will be in the interior of the Branford House, but the cocktail hour and reception will be held on the outside patio area and under a tent on the lawn.
May I take a centerpiece/flowers home?
Yes, please do! The centerpieces will be available towards the end of the reception.
Can I take pictures and post them on social media?
We’d love for you to take photos prior to and after the ceremony - feel free to post anything using our wedding hashtag #jaremwedding2022 so that we can keep track of all of your pictures. During the ceremony, our talented photographer and videographer will be capturing all the special moments, so please focus on enjoying the occasion.
